2005

The VCCFA Supreme Court victory. At a March 5, 2002 Education Council meeting a faculty rep at VCC suggested that proposed standardization of the lengths of ELS courses should come to EdCo in order to advise the board – it did not. VCCFA took VCC to court for violating the College & Institute Act. Madam Justice Allan (BCSC 119) ruled that the Board tried to circumvent the legislation, and that EdCo must be consulted.
