	1989	Human Rights Committee established; SWCC split into 2 committees: Bargaining Coordination and Contract Administration
	1991	Status of Non-Regular Faculty Committee established
	1993	Occupational Health & Safety Committee established
	1994	Education Policy Committee established
	2001	International Solidarity added to Human Rights Committee name and purpose
	2002	Disability Management & Rehabilitation Committee established (after the 2001 round of bargaining, the move to an employer-paid disability plan, and the creation at locals of joint return to work committees)

	2009	Equity sub-committee of HRISC created
	2010	Private Sector Standing Committee created
	2011	Private Sector Standing Committee renamed the Private Sector Locals and Organizing Committee, and later became the Private Sector Policy Committee.
	2017	Decolonization, Reconciliation and Indigenization Standing Committee established (to respond to the relevant 94 Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission)
